Living in East TN

It's a beautiful, fall day here in East Tennessee. I thought I'd take the time to share a little about me.


I'm married to an incredible, Godly man. We've been married since December 2013. Life has been a fun ride, especially since we had our daughter in July 2017. My hubby and I are originally from Ohio. He's lived here since 2010, and I moved down in 2012. It's quite the change of scenery from flatland Ohio. I have grown to love the mountains so much!

My daughter is one sarcastic ball of sass! She keeps us on our toes, and she makes life so much more exciting! She is two and every day she somehow has us cracking up!

I'm a middle school special education teacher. Now you know why I need #allthecoffee -- middle school teacher and a toddler mom. 😆 This is my 8th year as a special education teacher and I'm currently department head for my school. I love my job, but man oh man, it can be very challenging.

The Perfect Blend

How many of you start your day with a hot, or iced, cup of coffee?

I do, too. There is nothing like starting the day off with a cup to get you prepared to tackle whatever life may bring you that day. 

This blog is my journey of life. I've always wanted to start a blog, and thought, "Why not right now?" So I created this--Life, Love & Coffee. 

For those that know me well, they know I'm a big coffee fan. I may or may not have gotten a huge 64 ounce coffee mug for Christmas one year... ;-)

Life...every day brings a new joy, celebration, or mess #toddlermom 

Love...because life is not complete without love from God, family, and friends.

Coffee...well...coffee, friends, and family really do make the perfect blend!

And that's what this blog will be, the perfect blend of life. I'll share about my family, our favorite recipes, traditions, my job, crafts, and adventures.
